Develop and disseminate category strategy based on product needs and secure implementation. Including updates on latest supply market information/developments and having interface with factory R&D projects

  • Category Strategy

o Develop and disseminate category strategy based on product needs and secure implementation. Including updates on latest supply market information/developments and having interface with factory R&D projects.

o Develop and manage supplier footprint to support divisional needs. Including new supplier request and owner of category preferred supplier list

  • Enhance supplier strategic relationships

o Engagement with supplier technology roadmaps to drive alignment of future Visteon product offering.

o Encourage supplier competition to improve technology sharing and influence supplier future device design definition.

o Identify select suppliers for first to market products and joint promotions to Visteon Customers

  • Drive Commercial Results

o Leveraging pricing performance from across market trends.

o Aggressive activity into supplier cost structures to drive improved commoditization and enhanced understanding of market influencers on end item pricing

o Execute Global Commodity strategy with cross functional alignment to deliver commercial objectives.

o Negotiate supplier product support quotations against pricing trends/benchmarks/cost models and execute supplier sourcing nominations.

o Structure optimal terms, contracts, and long term agreements with the supply base

  • Stakeholder Alignment

o Sourcing searches/benchmarking of new technology offerings for advanced products

o Engage multiple suppliers for competitive quoting to meet advanced product platform requirements and negotiate comprehensive package to meet cost performance

o Lead and develop RFI/RFQ and sourcing packages with the technology office to support future product innovation and eventual sourcing.
