Airport Staff are looking to hire a HGV Mechanic for our client at Dublin Airport to assist with the maintenance, repair and total up-keep of over 1,000 units for major Airline, Airport and Ground handling companies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and carry out services of different levels
- Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair on a varied fleet of HGVs, LGV’s & Airport related machinery
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide updates on a daily basis
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Work with truck models such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, and DAF
- To undertake any other duties or activities as required
Requirements:
- Be a fully qualified HGV/LGV Mechanic
- Hold a full C Licence (Preferably – but not essential)
- Be a people person with excellent interpersonal and people management skills
- Be friendly with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Be diligent, with a flexible and can do approach to work
- Work well under pressure

Salary: €42,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
