Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity as Site Manager of a rapidly growing company based just outside Breda?
Riverside Aromatics was founded in 2006 in the UK and is a well-established supplier of raw materials in the food and flavour industry. Three years ago, the company expanded its operations and opened a European site to supply its European customer base. Riverside Aromatics (Europe) B.V. has been fully operational for the last two years, importing raw materials from around the world for distribution across the whole of Europe.
The busy warehouse is BRC accredited (AA) and comprises modern offices, a 525m² warehouse, local production facilities and a dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the business and site. As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day to day running of Riverside Aromatics (Europe) B.V., from ensuring orders are despatched on time to making sure all local quality systems and Health & Safety procedures are followed.
In this role you will be fully supported from the UK Head Office in all areas of the business, as such excellent communication skills (both verbally & written) are required. This role requires both management ability and a hands-on attitude.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
· Management of the Riverside Aromatics (Europe) B.V. site and business
· Excellent communication skills
· Motivating and offering leadership to the local team.
· Managing & making day-to-day decisions for the site.
· Be able to problem solve.
· Have a hands-on attitude and approach (happy to help in all areas of the business).
· Ensuring an efficient & safe working environment.
· Responsible for site specific processes (BRC, Quality Control & Health & Safety).
You and Your experience:
We are looking for a candidate who can manage a busy Site, whilst overseeing a variety of disciplines. You will recognize yourself in the following points:
· Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (both verbally & written)
· Good personal skills & experience in the management of people
· Background in flavour and fragrance, food or chemical industry would be of benefit but not essential.
· Experience of quality systems (BRC / ISO etc)
· Able to work accurately and methodically; you have an eye for detail.
· Able to transition between leading the team and stepping in with ‘hands on help’.
· Natural leadership that is needed to make the warehouse operation work seamlessly with all other departments.
